VISTA has an urgent opportunity for a Connecticut licensed General Surgery Physician Assistant to provide night and weekend coverage with call.
Location: Connecticut
Specialist: Physician Assistant
Training: No new graduates
Duration: Ongoing while hiring
Board requirement: Board certified -NCCPA. BLS
Shifts: Nocturnist/Call responsibility
Hours: Ideally 3-4 shifts a week 7p-7a for 3 months (provider should have some weekend availability)
*First week of assignment is 4x10hr 6:30a - 4:30p for orientation*
Procedures: Skilled in the operative and perioperative management of general surgical, vascular, colorectal and plastic surgery patients. Capable of admitting, discharging and providing consults for the surgical patients' listed above.
Census: 10 to 15
Type of facility: Hospital
EMR: EPIC Systems
License requirement: Must be licensed before presentation
