General Surgery NP / PA
  • Availability: ASAP – Ongoing
  • Monday – Friday: 8:00a – 5:00p
  • Rounding on 12 – 15 patients per day
  • Average 20 patients per day
  • Average 1 – 2 admissions per day
  • Does not respond to codes
  • Does not serve as back up in the ER
  • BLS certification required
  • Board Certification required
  • Surgical experience required
  • EMR: EPIC (HealthSpan)

Roanoke Chowan Hospital
  • 114 bed hospital
  • Low Volume Emergency Department (15 beds)
  • 10-bed ICU
  • 21,000 patients per year
  • 24 hour rotational shifts
  • Vidant Air and Vidant Ground Support to immediately transfer patients
