At Lehigh Valley Health Network- you have the opportunity to make an important impact on the lives of your patients! We are seeking an enthusiastic Robotic Surgery Physician Assistant who has great clinical and interpersonal skills to join our team in Allentown, PA.

Job Responsibilities:

LVHN has a robust and growing robotic surgery program, with over 15,000 procedures making them one of the most experienced programs in the country. We currently have 8 robotic surgical systems across 6 campuses. Robotic service lines include; gynecology, gynecology oncology, urogynecology, urology, thoracic oncology, general surgery, surgical oncology, bariatrics, ENT, colon rectal surgery and reproductive surgery.

  • Physician Assistants work primarily as bedside assistants during robotic assisted procedures across multiple service lines.
  • Will also work closely with residents and fellows learning robotic surgery and are integral in their training.
  • There are no outpatient clinical duties.
  • Inpatient duties include; post-operative care
  • Position is Monday through Friday, day shift
  • Hours are variable based on OR schedule, but do not include overnight or weekends.

Job Qualifications:

  • Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
  • Medical Physician Assistant, or Osteopathic Physician Assistant with current license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Physician Assistants must also have a current certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
