• Schedule: Call & weekend required
• Census: avg 8/week
• Active TX PA license required
• Skill Requirements: 3-5 years cardiothoracic surgery
• Job Description: The Cardiothoracic Surgery physician assistant provides surgical services, inpatient care, and outpatient care. These duties include first-assisting in surgery, endoscopic vein, inpatient rounds and procedures, and clinic preop and postop visits. The ideal candidate for CT Surgery Physician Assistant has good communication skills, enjoys all aspects of patient care, works in a professional and courteous manner, incorporates relevant findings of current research into clinical practice, and has some surgical experience. Full-time, 1 in 3 call. **This is a rounding position in ICU/Surgery/OR/ possible clinic
