• Seeking a Locums Cardiovascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Location is 20 minutes from Washington, DC
• Schedule is 4/10’s or 5/8s from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
• Cardio Vascular Operating Room experience including vein harvesting – first assist experience
• 10 call shifts per 6 weeks after introductory period
• 2 ORs and a third once a week in the Cath lab
• Will work with two physicians who have been at the hospital for over 20 years
• No transplants or pediatrics
• A typical day may include 2 coronaries, an AVR, creation of an AVF and a CEA

A hospital 20 minutes outside Washington, DC is seeking a Cardiovascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team. The schedule would be 4/10s or 5/8s from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. After an introductory period, there are 10 call shifts per 6 weeks. Experience in the cardiovascular operating room including vein harvesting and fist assist is desired. There are 2 ORs and a third once a week in the Cath Lab.
