Seeking an Advanced Practitioner with at least 3+ years of experience in Cardiothoracic/Cardiovascular Surgery to join a program in northeast Indiana in Fort Wayne area. Incoming PA would be involved with complex CV surgical cases as part of a team of highly specialized team of physicians and assistants. There are 6 CV Surgeons in group. Incoming Assistant is required to have EVH experience and certification in CV surgery. The primary responsibility is OR 1st assist / EVH. Rounding is minimal, but would be highly valued going forward.
Competitive Financial package to include salary, incentive, and comprehensive benefits package.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Surgeries/EVH in the mornings, Post OP follow-up visits in the afternoons (noon to 4:30pm).
Call (weekdays/weekends): Light and Limited. No VAD on call at this time.
396-bed tertiary care center. Located in northeastern Indiana, close to the Ohio border and 1 hour south of Michigan border. It is a short drive to major metropolitan areas like Indianapolis, Chicago and Cincinnati.
