Seeking an Advanced Practitioner with ideally 3+ years of experience in Cardiothoracic / Cardiovascular Surgery to a practice in Fort Wayne area. There are 6 CV Surgeons in group. Incoming Assistant is required to have EVH experience and certification in CV surgery. Group will consider graduating candidates as well.
The primary responsibility is OR 1st assist / EVH. Rounding is minimal, but would be highly valued going forward.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Surgeries/EVH in the mornings, Post OP follow-up visits in the afternoons (noon to 4:30pm).
Call (weekdays/weekends): Light and Limited. No VAD on call at this time.

Centrally located and just a short drive from major metropolitan areas such as Chicago, Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Detroit.
