Excellent opportunity for a physician assistant to join our 4 skilled surgeons and six other allied health professionals in a well-established, hospital-employed practice. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to rounding on each patient upon arrival, addressing any issues with nurse throughout the night and if needed for major issues, performing any minor procedures at the bed side as needed with direction of surgeon, reviewing any lab work and/or tests ordered during the day, review of pre-op patients, making sure all pre-op orders have been processed and rounding throughout the night on all patients as needed.

The successful candidate will have 2-5 yrs. ICU/CCU experience and the ability to read radiological tests such as chest x-rays and CT scans. Ability to do chest tube insertion, central line and arterial line placement a plus.
