Outstanding radiology group in the Medford, Oregon area is seeking a physician assistant to join their growing practice! Ideal candidates will have experience in interventional radiology or another procedural or surgical specialty, or a background as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) prior to becoming a PA. Responsibilities:
- Full-time position - Interventional Radiology
- Monday-Friday
- Collaborate with a fantastic team board-certified radiologists and work alongside a team of established PAs
- Perform procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, placement and removal of PICC lines, tunneled catheters and ports, CT guided biopsies, ultrasound-guided biopsies, and more
- Obtain comprehensive health histories and perform complete physical examinations during hospitalization
- Develop patient treatment plans and educate patients about discharge care
- Communicate patient status information, attend daily rounds, and document progress in the electronic medical record
Qualifications:
- Oregon Physician Assistant License
- BLS/ACLS Certified
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient with EMR systems
