Ideal candidates will have at least one year of procedural experience in interventional radiology or will have other prior radiology experience, such as an RT. Responsibilities:

• Full-time permanent position - Interventional Radiology
• Monday-Friday
• Collaborate with a fantastic team of board-certified fellowship-trained radiologists
• Perform procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, placement and removal of PICC lines, tunneled catheters and ports, CT guided biopsies, ultrasound-guided biopsies, and more
• Obtain comprehensive health histories and perform complete physical examinations during hospitalization
• Develop patient treatment plans and educate patients about discharge care
• Communicate patient status information, attend daily rounds, and document progress in the electronic medical record

Qualifications:

• Alabama Physician Assistant License
• BLS/ACLS Certified
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proficient with EMR systems
