Our longtime client in the Charlotte, North Carolina area is seeking an experienced physician assistant to join their expanding radiology practice! Ideal candidates will have at least one year of experience in interventional radiology or will have prior radiology experience, such as an RT. Candidates with strong procedural and surgical skills in another specialty may also be considered. Responsibilities:

  • Full-time permanent position - Interventional Radiology
  • Monday-Friday
  • Collaborate with a fantastic team board-certified radiologists and work alongside a team of established PAs
  • Perform procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, placement and removal of PICC lines, tunneled catheters and ports, CT guided biopsies, ultrasound-guided biopsies, and more
  • Obtain comprehensive health histories and perform complete physical examinations during hospitalization
  • Develop patient treatment plans and educate patients about discharge care
  • Communicate patient status information, attend daily rounds, and document progress in the electronic medical record

Qualifications:

  • North Carolina Physician Assistant License
  • BLS/ACLS Certified
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with EMR systems
