Our client in Savannah, Georgia is seeking an experienced physician assistant to join their expanding radiology practice! Candidates must have at least one year of diagnostic or interventional radiology to be considered for this role. Join a thriving private practice and live and work in the beautiful Savannah area!

Responsibilities:

• Full-time position Monday-Friday 8:30 AM to 5 PM

• Venous access device placement and removal (ports, tunneled and non-tunneled central lines), thoracentesis, paracentesis, image-guided lumbar punctures with and without chemo administration

• Perform clinical consultations, patient histories and physicals

• Provide patient care as a member of an interdisciplinary team, working with many specialists to coordinate and optimize patient care

• Perform minor surgical procedures

• Prescribes oral and IV medications when appropriate

• Work alongside and collaborate with interventional radiologists and APPs

Qualifications:

• Active Georgia Physician Assistant License

• Active DEA License

• Active BLS and ACLS

• Minimum one year of experience in radiology or interventional radiology required
