Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – Radiology – Interventional

Join an established private Radiology practice of seven servicing central Georgia.  The practice is currently seeking to add a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with experience in a procedural-based practice.  The candidate will work closely with Interventional Radiologists to assist them in daily patient care, procedures, office visits and consults. 

Job details: 

  • Full-time permanent position joining a team of 7 Radiologists
  • Must have general Interventional Radiology skills in hospital and practice settings
  • Familiarity with EMR for IR Radiology Practice
  • Experience in Radiology.  Procedural skills required:  Central Venous lines, Thoracentesis, Paracentesis
  • 1 week per month of pager call from 6pm – 7am
  • 2 weekends per month of pager call from Friday 6pm – Monday 7am
  • Will consider 2 post call days off so you work Wednesday – Sunday.
  • Week night pager – minimal call backs, typically only 1-2 a month
  • Weekend pager – typically there are 4 call backs.   Techs handle the majority.  You are in and out in minutes
  • Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant  or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Certified by NCCPA or AANPCB
  • Please have GA license in hand or in process
