An esteemed Hospital in Kearney, NE is looking for a best in class Travel NP or PA for a Cardiothoracic Surger assignment. Quick Facts: Specialty(s): Cardiothoracic Surger ; Facility Type: Hospital; Location: Kearney, NE. Job Description: Must have experience in and be comfortable with vein harvesting. Provider will be required to back up our interventional cardiologist with surgery, support their referrals for surgery, IP consultation at request of hospitalist, and ED call coverage. Type of Patients/Cases: Low volume program at this point so only 1-2 CABG per week and 1-2 other cases eg. Pacemaker or thoracic. Patients per day/Volume: 100 cardiac cases per year probably 30-40 thoracic. The PA will do vein harvest. *** Case logs needed for the past 12 months with documentation of 100 cardiothoracic surgical procedures that includes a minimum of 35 open heart procedures as the primary operator.
