**Pulmonology APP opening in Oregon**
* Located in ***Corvallis, OR*** - just 84 miles from Portland
* Service area of 300,000+ people
* Full-time, permanent opening
* Hospital-employed position
* Level 2 Trauma Center
* Joining a well-established team of Pulmonologists, Intensivists, Cardiologists and Cardiac surgeons
* Provides consultation and care of diseases affecting the respiratory system, including treatment for COPD, cystic fibrosis, and asthma
* ***Experience required***
* Must have experience and/or interest in the development and expansion of a newly established outpatient service to serve pulmonary patients
* Collaborate with Pulmonologists in the outpatient and inpatient setting
* Call: Not initially an expectation
* 10-12 patients per day consisting of complex and level 5 pulmonary patients
* Handle urgent appointments for established pulmonary medicine patients and new patient visit/follow ups
* Outpatient across the procedures across the pulmonary medicine spectrum
* On-site Pulmonary Function Lab

**Job Requirements:**
* The successful candidate will be responsible for clinical management of pulmonary patients, patient education, follow up, interpretations of diagnostics, medication management, and responding to patient questions on a variety of medical issues
* Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic pulmonary illnesses
* Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
* Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
* Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
* Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
* Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
* Should possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team oriented.
* Eligibility to work in the United States
