**Psychiatric NP opening near Portland, OR**
* Located in ***McMinnville, OR*** - Portland 38m
* Full-time, permanent position
* Employed position
* Must be BE/BC PMH-NP with at least 2 years experience
* Work under the supervision of the Medical Director and the SBHU Manager
* Work collaboratively with the Senior Behavioral Health Unit (SBHU) care team to provide patient assessment and diagnosis, formulate treatment plans, prescribe medications, order laboratory tests, interpret test results, and provide patient and family education
* Hospitalists collaborate with the providers in the SBHU to consult on complex medical issues that may come up
* There is also a great collaborative team approach in the unit between nurses, social workers, OTs, and providers to ensure all needs patient needs are met
* Document inpatient medical records in accordance with the statutes, regulations, and protocols regulating the profession as well as the medical staff bylaws
