We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join a growing psychiatry practice. Position will be full time, You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
Perform psychiatric evaluations to patient population.
Diagnose patients with mental illness.
Prescribe and review psychiatric medications.
Provide counseling and education to patients and families.
Identify and manage crisis intervention of patients.
Assist in monitoring the physical and mental health status of patients and promote health maintenance
Prescribe and implement interventions identified in interdisciplinary plan of care.
Coordinated care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team.
Participate in treatment and discharge meetings, case conferences and special program meetings.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
Florida License
Ability to build rapport with patients
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership qualities
