We are looking for a Behavioral Health Pediatric Physician Assistant to complete psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and for patients (ages 8-21) and their families.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Other duties may be assigned.

• Obtains problem oriented patient history and documents findings in the patient medical record and in an accurate and timely manner.

• Performs physical and psychosocial assessments and documents findings in the patient medical record.

• Diagnoses and treats medical problems including patient education, counseling, medication advice and follow-up instructions with referral when necessary to supervising physician or specialist.

· Refers patients to medical specialist or other practitioner for specialized treatment.

QUALIFICATIONS

· 2-3 years of experience as a Pediatric PA

· Certified as a Pediatric PA

· Active New Jersey State license

· BLS

· Comfortable with documenting in electronic medical record and utilizing electronic data and reports

· Job Type: Full-time or part time

· Telemedicine an option

Experience:

EMR systems: 2 years (Preferred)

Pediatric BH PA: 2 years (Preferred)
