A hospital in Maine is in need of a physician assistant who is able to provide locum tenens coverage for approximately two months beginning in early July with a high chance of extension for three to six months. On a typical day, the locum tenens PA can expect to see between ten and twelve patients aged 18+ for a variety of cases: Float position for all units; Civil Units, which don't include court-ordered patients; Forensic Psych Units as well; Court-ordered psych patients w/ bipolar, schizophrenia, and a variety of SMI's. Forensic experience is required. The schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. This facility uses Meditech EMR and will provide paid training.
