OPEN POSITION:
Physician Assistant - Podiatry

SCHEDULE:
- Part-Time
- 2 or 3 Days per Week



COMPENSATION:
- Negotiable Compensation Structure; full-time equivalent of $90k to $110k annually
- 1099 Independent Contractor Position
- Some Benefits Negotiable



LOCATION:
Indianapolis & Surrounding Area

This practice sees patients in its clinic in downtown Indianapolis, as well as in nearby facilities (independent/assisted living). They also serve a limited number of in-home patients via a house call model. The new provider will work a flexible, negotiable schedule between the various settings.

COMPANY PROFILE:
Podiatry practice serving the greater Indianapolis area. Their providers offer quality, compassionate care in the comfort and convenience of assisted living, independent living, and long-term care facilities, as well as some private homes. There is also a clinic in Indianapolis that serves a wide variety of patients and offers a traditional practice setting.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Serve as a podiatry provider for a dedicated patient base in facility, home, and/or clinic settings.

See an average of 15 to 25 patients per day, depending on setting. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

- routine foot care
- wound debridement
- nail trimming
- removing ingrown toenails
- trimming callouses

Utilize the MediTouch EHR on a company-supplied iPad.

There are no on-call responsibilities.

This is a very autonomous position and the practice is happy to work with the new provider to create a mutually-beneficial schedule and practice site rotation.

The position will begin with as much as 3 months of training, depending upon the provider's previous experience in podiatry and wound care.


REQUIREMENTS:
- Indiana PA license
- DEA
- exposure to or interest in wound care strongly preferred
- exposure to or interest in podiatry preferred, not required
- new graduates are welcome to apply
