We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant to join our medical practice in Gilbert, AZ. We are looking for a provider who can join us providing direct patient care within our integrated physical medicine practice. Our ideal PA is driven and comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain. Experience with joint and trigger point injections is a plus but not required and we will consider new graduates. We will train, mentor, and provide additional certificates/CEs as needed.

Must have a positive, welcoming, and compassionate attitude and be reliable. The primary job functions include functional exams to determine diagnosis, orders, and treatment/care plans. Our Integrated practice utilizes regen Medicine for a drugless, holistic approach to osteoarthritis.

We have a dynamic, well-educated team of medical professionals including a physician, advance practice provider and amazing support staff.

Duties:

  • Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)
  • Order and review tests/labs
  • Determine Diagnosis
  • Develop and implements long and short-range treatment plans
  • Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, lifestyle management, rehab/exercises and various modalities
  • Manage patient care
  • Order/Prescribe DME
  • Treatments- perform trigger point, joint and regen med injections (PRP, regen med, non-steroidal joint injections) US guided
  • Documentation and progress notes
  • Ensure patient information, visit history, refer outs, lab follow-up, and consults are carefully and completely documented. Training provided for Motor Vehicle Accident Documentation
  • Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
  • Retention of patients
  • Maintaining relationships with Physician referral sources
  • Business Development efforts including Wellness Talks, Community Events
  • Administrative Tasks

Requirements:

  • Graduation from and accredited PA program
  • PA license in AZ
  • Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is a plus
  • Experience with US guided joint injections a plus
  • Valid DEA

Schedule:

  • Full-time Mon - Thurs. 8:30 - 12:30 & 2:00- 6 p.m. and Fridays 8:30 - 12:30

Compensation (range):

  • $110k - $130k per year
