Physician Assistant Shreveport, LA

We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant to join our outpatient private practice part time in Shreveport, LA. We are offering a flexible schedule -working 1 day per week with the possibility of increasing hours/days in the future.

We are a physical medicine office, and we utilize natural regenerative cellular therapies to treat our patients acute and chronic pain and injuries. The PA duties include patient examinations, joint and trigger point injections and management of patient care.

We have a team of medical doctors, midlevel providers, CMA’s, phlebotomists, and administrative staff on hand to help provide high quality patient care.

Duties:

  • Patient exams/consultations (HPI, physical exam, review pertinent medical records/imaging/reports)
  • Evaluate Clinical Data
  • Order and review appropriate tests/imaging/records
  • Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
  • Patient education as to diagnosis and treatment plan options
  • Consultation with the Supervisory physician as needed
  • Documentation- timely and accurate
  • Perform treatments such as Joint and trigger point injections
  • Assist in the direction of the management of the patient’s care

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited PA program
  • PA license in Louisiana
  • Experience in Joint and Trigger point injections preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate
  • Orthopedic/ Physical Med and Rehab or Family medicine background is preferred

Compensation:

  • $500 per day
