Vidant Medical Group and Vidant North Hospital, located in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, are seeking an experienced Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join team.

Job Details:

  • Employment by Vidant Medical Group
  • Hospital privileges at Vidant North Hospital, a 204-bed community hospital
  • Opportunity due to programmatic expansion
  • Clinical responsibilities include: admission & management of pediatric patients, round on newborn nursery, provide ED pediatric consults and answer after hours pediatric calls
  • 12-bed PICU
  • Support from the James and Connie Maynard Children’s Hospital PICU team in Greenville, NC, which is an established program that is home to a level II pediatric trauma program with ECMO and a full spectrum of subspecialist and pediatric support teams
  • 7 on/7 off schedule
  • Excellent compensation and benefits including relocation

Applicant Requirements:

  • Four year degree in nursing and be must be master's prepared with specialization in Pediatric Critical Care
  • NC RN licensure & NC Nurse Practitioner or as a Physician Assistant; National Board Certification as an NP/PA required
