A very exciting opportunity for a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PT/FT) in a growing community! This locum opportunity has immediate availability and is an open-ended contract.
This position is responsible for providing exceptional primary care services, including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating, and educating our patients. You will work closely with physicians and other clinicians in a supportive team approach to optimal patient care.
More about the position:
We are seeking qualified NPs or PAs for an Elizabeth, NJ-based locum opportunity at a private pediatric’s practice. The person in this position should utilize a high degree of knowledge, skill and competence in a specialized area of nursing to diagnose, proscribe, and treat pediatric patients within the scope of a formal collaborative practice.
Your hours for this position will be Monday-Friday, 8 hour shifts (no more than 30 hours a week) and you’ll see approximately 22 patients per day. To qualify for this position you must meet the following qualifications:
-3+ years pediatrics experience in a clinical setting
-BLS certification required
-PALS certification preferred
-Comfortable working independently
