We are currently looking for a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our interventional pain management practice in The Woodlands, Texas.

• Outstanding opportunity to work alongside 2 board certified Pain Management physicians and a tenured support staff in a well-established pain practice that has been serving the The Woodlands-Houston area for 10 years

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations focused on Neck, Back, Hip, Knee, Ankles, Foot and Shoulders
• Be able to perform a thorough musculoskeletal and neurologic exam
• Analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options
• Be able to identify patients who are candidates for pain relieving / function improving procedures
• Educate patients and provide counseling and guidance on their pain conditions and treatment options
• Be comfortable managing medications including NSAIDs, Gabapentinoids, and Opioids

Qualifications:

• No new graduates will be considered, looking for 5+ years of experience
• Pain management experience is preferred, but not required
• Must love building relationships with patients, value bedside manner, and possess excellent clinical skills
• Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations
• State licensure and board certification is required
