One of the most successful and highly regarded ENT practices in Southern California is seeking a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join their growing team in Bakersfield, California! This is a full-time permanent position with a three month training program. Training will take place in Los Angeles, after which the PA or NP will work full-time in the Bakersfield clinic alongside another experienced ENT Nurse Practitioner. Responsibilities:

  • Full-time permanent position - ENT Otolaryngology
  • Monday-Friday 9 AM to 5:30 PM
  • No call, no evenings, no weekends
  • Join an existing team of ENT physicians, PAs, and NPs
  • Perform flexible laryngoscopy, nasal endoscopy, and other minor clinical procedures
  • Evaluation and management of the full spectrum of the ear, nose and throat
  • Diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment
  • Filling orders, scheduling and/or performing laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in otolaryngology (preferred)
  • At least 1 year of experience in other relevant field (Primary Care, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, etc.)
  • California Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License
  • DEA license
  • EMR proficient
