We are currently recruiting physician assistants with orthopedics experience to join an expanding ortho group in the Blacksburg, Virginia area! Responsibilities:

• Full-time position, Monday-Friday

• First-assist in OR 1-2 days per week

• Clinic and morning hospital rounding 3-4 days per week

• Occasional weekend call split among all providers in the group

• Chance to expand your scope of practice and work autonomously in outreach clinics

• Administer injections, immunizations and other medical procedures

• Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations

• Educate patients on overall wellness and health maintenance

• Develop and implement patient management plans

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a physician assistant working in orthopedics or another surgical subspecialty

• Virginia Physician Assistant License

• DEA License

• BLS/ACLS
