We are hiring a Manager of Radiation Therapy in Beautiful Palm Springs, CA!
Our Hospital is a magnet status hospital and thrives on Quality Measures!
This position is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the essential patient care functions of the Clinic in collaboration with the Clinical Director and Medical Director. This includes but is not limited to daily supervision, scheduling, training, documenting/auditing protocols with Director and Physicians, appropriate staffing (use of per diem/flexing), and HIPPA compliance.
Knowledge of Varian equipment, including Care Path feature, CT Simulator, IMRT experience.
Knowledge of JCAHO, State DPH or other accreditation standards of care.
Knowledge of patient care standards of care as they relate to the services provided in the practice.
Supervision and leadership skills.
Self-motivated, self-starter, and able to organize efforts around helping patients have a positive experience.
Excellent customer service skills with patients, co-workers and physicians.
Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills, in particular related to staffing, scheduling and management of office practice.
Knowledge of clinic policies and procedures to manage its operations and to ensure effective and quality patient care.
Exercises a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion in order to organize work, delegate and achieve goals and objectives.
Able to solve problems effectively and inclusively, and communicate to others to implement solutions with appropriate parties.
Analyzes situations accurately and takes effective action.
Skills and knowledge to plan, develop, and implement a project and see it through to success, while integrating priorities and deadlines.
Education
Required: Radiation Therapy Degree
Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferre
Licensure/Certification
Required: ARRT registered. CA State Certificate within 6 months of hire
American Heart Association BLS
Experience
Required: 4-6 years’ patient care experience; supervisory / leadership experience. Skill CT Simulation, IMRT experience
Preferred: 3+ years’ experience as lead or Chief Tech; 8 years plus therapy and/or dosimetry experience; experience with Aria Electronic medical record
Salary is experience based and in line with supervisory compensation ($93,600-$118,560K)
