The Physician Assistant (PA), under the direction of the Medical Director and the onsite Supervising Physician provides and coordinates direct patient care and may act as a first assistant to the supervising surgeon. The PA provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative healthcare service, as delegated by a physician.

• Current California Physician Assistant License
• Certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA), if not a graduate from an accredited ARC Physician Assistant educational program
• Current AHA-HCP CPR recognition
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 3 months of hire
• Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) number or proof of application
• Meets Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to bill Medicare
