Looking for an experienced GY OncologyPhsician Assistant for a permanent position. NP will split time between 2 campuses (close by) in patient and out patient. Clinic hours – Monday/Thursday 8-4:30pm, along with outpatient chemotherapy one other day, making the IP/OP split 60/40. IP duties will be rounding 1-2x per day (based on volume), along with any inpatient consults. Yes, will be utilized on both sides of the street. Duties will include taking cultures, papsmears, review results, complete discharge orders, provide assistance with prior-authorizations, order pain meds and testing, complete minor procedures, biopsies, and pelvic exams. If certified, will complete colposcopies. Volume on clinic days is ~40-45 patients, inpatient volume varies, but he averages 6-8 surgeries per week. Patient population is women with ovarian cancer, endometrial cancer, vulva and vaginal cancers, along with other complicated gynecologic conditions. beautiful scenic and very family friendly community with museums, parks, outdoor recreation, casino and much more!
