TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for an experienced certified nurse midwife (CNM) to join our OB/Gyn hospitalist team at AdventHealth Tampa in sunny Tampa, Florida! As a CNM hospitalist, you will see patients in the obstetric emergency department (OBED), manage and deliver low risk obstetric patients, assist on cesarean sections and help with post-partum rounds. This model consists of 2 clinicians in-house 24/7 with 1 MD for 24 hours, and a second clinician MD for 12 hours and CNM for 12 hours. This position features 12-hour, in-house shifts with the support of a TeamHealth OB/Gyn hospitalist physician. Ideal candidates are AMCB certified, with a minimum of 2 years of post-training experience, are able to demonstrate clinical excellence along with superior communication skills and a focus on providing quality care and patient satisfaction. Qualifications also include active skills and a current Florida license to practice. Other requirements include the ability to partner with nursing and support in-house call coverage for community providers, a willingness to drive patient safety and quality initiatives as required by the TeamHealth Patient Safety Organization, insurability for professional liability insurance, and a successful track record.
