Optum is looking for a full-time Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant for Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB GYN) to join our team in Redlands, CA. The clinicians we seek are those who practice medicine with a focus on patient care, not volume. We want our clinicians to take the time needed to truly address the patient’s needs.

Position Details

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday
  • Location: Optum Redlands Main office
  • Outpatient setting only
  • Comfortable seeing wide range of Obstetrical and Gynecological conditions
  • Manage patient care for routine well woman’s exams, screenings and follow up appointments, contraceptive management, family planning and in office procedures
  • Appointment Schedule: 15 / 30 minutes for follow up appointments and initial consults
  • Average Daily Patients per Day: 20 patients

Requirements

  • Master’s degree from a four-year college and/or a professional certification beyond a four-year college.
  • Certificate of completion from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Active AANP or NCCPA certification
  • Unrestricted CA NP or PA license
  • Current CA DEA certificate required prior to start date
  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in OB/GYN specialty
  • Excellent patient care and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and without direct supervision
  • Flexible, strong multi-prioritizing skills and time management skills.
  • Computer / EMR proficient
