- 12-Hour Shifts with 7 On / 7 Off

- 5 8-Hour Shifts per Week

COMPENSATION:
- $100,000 to $120,000 Annual Salary, negotiable based on experience
- Malpractice Insurance

LOCATION:
Port Charlotte, Florida
COMPANY PROFILE:
This physician-owned private practice opened in 2010 and, today, employs several clinical practitioners and a robust support staff. In addition to operating a primary care clinic in Port Charlotte, the practice’s providers round at local skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) and provide hospitalist and nocturnist services at nearby hospitals. The practice is currently growing and excited to welcome new providers to their nocturnist team.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This is a standard nocturnist role with flexibility in the schedule. While the practice is negotiable and open to discussion, they are ideally seeking one of the following options:
- traditional 7 on / 7 off schedule with 10-12 hours shifts
- 4 10-hour shifts per week
- 5 8-hour shifts per week
- all shifts are overnight (nocturnist)
Duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- be responsible for 10 to 22 patients per shift
- refer to and collaborate with specialists
- consult with hospitalist physicians
This position will cover three local hospitals, all within a small geographic area.
All hospitals use an EHR and providers are well-supported by nurses, clinical assistants, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Florida NP or PA license
- DEA
- previous relevant experience preferred
- new graduates will be considered on an individual basis
