We have excellent opportunities for Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners that have experience in inpatient neurology or neurocritical care settings. We are moving quickly to fill day and night shifts available during the week and on weekends, with one opening in picturesque Greensboro, and the other near the coast in Wilmington.

Opportunity 1 – Greensboro, NC

• Day shifts 7a-7p weekdays; 8a-6p weekends, 2-3 consecutive days per week or weekends
• Provide consults for the inpatient neurology service - 12-16 patients per shift
• Primarily one location but occasional need to go to additional site (3 miles away)
• Must have stroke experience

Opportunity 2 – Wilmington, NC

• Night shifts 7p-7a, 1 week per month ideal but can be less
• Provide neuro-critical care coverage – average of 12 patients and 2 overnight calls
• Neurohospitalist APP and intensivists in-house overnight, neurosurgery on call
• Procedures preferred: intubations, central line insertions, bronchoscopies are standard

Additional Details

• Preferred: NC License, DEA and Certification
• Required: Stroke experience for Opportunity 1
• This is an independent contractor agreement – not direct employment
• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, and malpractice insurance, plus tail
