**Neonatal Nurse Practitioner needed in Iowa**

**Practice Info:**

We are needing an Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for our unit from July 19 through July 27. This is 24 hour shifts so they would be here for 8 days/nights. We have an onsite sleep room and they can go outside of the hospital as long as they can get back within 15 minutes (you can get anywhere in this city in 15 minutes). We use EPIC for charting.

**Responsibilities:**

* Provides primary health care and emergency services to high-risk newborns and infants
* Obtains history, performs physical exams, interprets lab, radiographic, and clinical data to assist in developing a plan of care for each infant under physician supervision
* Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in accordance with protocols and policies as consistent with the Iowa Board of Nursing
* Collaborates with nursing and medical staff to help in providing family education and coordinating discharge planning

Dubuque, IA is located in the heart of the Midwest on the beautiful bluffs overlooking the Mississippi. The population served is over 175,000, with a radius of 80 miles including Illinois and Wisconsin.
