Job Description

Last Update: 4/11/24

Job Description:

This Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) will join our interdisciplinary Neonatology team at Logan Regional Hospital located in Logan, Utah.

Logan Regional Hospital houses an 18-bed level II NICU that has a care team of Neonatologists, Pediatricians, Nurse Practitioners, and a staff of qualified RNs, Respiratory Therapists, and CNAs. We also collaborate with a larger interdisciplinary team including Developmental Specialists, Pharmacists, Dieticians, Lactation Specialists, Social Workers and Parent Support who provide superior care for our patients.

We are a smaller special care nursery, but have the benefit of being a part of Intermountain Healthcare, allowing for constant collaboration and consultation just a phone call away at all times. We use the latest equipment and most advanced technology available, ensuring our APPs can work at the top of their scope of licensure. Our unit is designed for private, patient-focused care that encourages family participation. This APP will also provide care at McKay-Dee Hospital's level III NICU, approximately 1-2 shifts per month.

This is a full time, fully benefits-eligible position including generous CME reimbursement, relocation and student loan assistance, among other comprehensive benefits. It is anticipated this APP will work a combination of 24-hour and 12-hour shifts, including some days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays to meet patient care needs.

Due to the level of independence needed on our unit, we are currently requiring APP candidates to have at least one year of licensed APRN or PA experience in a level III or level IV newborn intensive care unit.
