**Certified Nurse Midwife, Advanced Healthcare Practitioner opportunity in Elmira, NY**Located 2 hours from Rochester, NY. 230 miles from NYC**Position Details:**- Full-time, permanent- Friendly, experienced OB/Gyn team of 3 Physicians, 5 Midwives, 1 Nurse Practitioner, and 1 Physician Assistant is looking to add a warm, qualified, and dedicated Nurse Midwife to their full scope practice located in the beautiful Twin Tiers Region of Upstate NY and Northeastern PA. - You will provide full scope Midwifery care to women across the life-span at 3 office locations and one hospital.- Midwives currently attend 75% of the normal deliveries at the hospital and first assist C-Sections, where a collaborative model blends with the midwifery model of care on our comfortable 8 room labor and delivery unit and 20 bed mother and newborn private room Level III perinatal unit.
