Job Description
As the Leave
of Absence Admin, you will manage the entire process of all leave of absence
programs, ensuring a positive employee experience. You will ensure employees are paid accurately
while on leave of absence. Maintains
compliance with leave of absence and employment laws including the Americans
with Disabilities Act (ADA). Leave
programs include Family and Medical Leave of Absence, Massachusetts Paid Family
and Medical Leave, short term disability, long term disability, military leave,
personal leave, and workers’ compensation leaves of absence. Our practice is located just south of Boston
and 45 minutes from Providence RI.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization may exist.
· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
· Must be able to reasonably make appropriate judgment in communications and actions with patients, physicians, employees, outside agencies, and vendors.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or a related field preferred
Experience (Type & Length): 2-5 years of related experience required.
Certification/Licensure: Certification and specialized training in leave of absence management preferred.
Software/Hardware: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and advanced Excel skills required.
Other: Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Must be organized, efficient and work with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
