Job Responsibilities:

• Treat interventional cardiology patients
• General supervision of PAs, assisting in reviewing performance, preparing work schedules
• Interviewing and training new PAs
• Liaison between department staff, nursing units, referring physicians, and other staff
• Assisting with administrative issues for all department PAs
• Participating in leadership activities and training.
• Schedule: 4 Days a Week, no nights, no weekends, no call
  
  

Job Requirements:

• Master's Degree
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program
• Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant (PA) by the New York State Department of Education
• Current NCCPA Certification from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
