Seeking a Physician Assistant or a Nurse Practitioner for established Maternal Fetal Medicine practice in Sunny, South Florida!

Envision Physician Services is seeking a Board-Certified Physician Assistant or a Nurse Practitioner to join our established practice, Perinatal Center of Florida, in South FL. The physician assistant will be a part of a practice with four physicians, comprised of two offices and three local hospital contracts.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Performs complete physical exams and obtains a complete medical history
• Provides timely and accurate dictation on patients seen in the office
• Orders appropriate laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures
• Interprets and integrates data to determine preliminary diagnosis and therapeutic plans
• Administers medications and injections in compliance with state law and clinic guidelines
• Instructs patient/family appropriately regarding medications and treatments
• Educates patients regarding health and illness prevention,
• Provides information regarding community resources to meet patient and family needs
• Collaborates with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients
• Provides monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits
• Maintains and reviews patient records, charts and other pertinent information
• Posts tests and examination results
• Triage’s patient telephone calls and provides consultation
• Opportunity to participate in hospital maternal programs for high risk pregnancies

• Sonographers and Practice are AIUM certified OB sonography
• Schedule: Five days a week
