Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Under the supervision of the Attending Physician assists in the daily planning and care of patients assigned to the Dept. of Internal Medicine Service.

AREAS OF RESPONSI BILITIES

  • Performs histories and physicals upon admission
  • Orders diagnostic tests
  • Evaluates findings and formulates Care Plans
  • Re-evaluates treatment plans and adjusts plans as needed
  • Performs Supervised Procedures
  • Writes Daily Progress Notes and Discharge Summaries

Qualifications:

  • New York State Physician Assistant License
  • NCCPA board certification or eligibility
  • DEA prescribing license
  • ACLS life support certification or eligible to obtain
  • Proof of covid-19 vaccination required before hire
