OPEN POSITION:
Physician Assistant - Adult / Geriatric Primary Care
SCHEDULE:
- Full-Time
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00am to 5:00pm
- No Nights, Weekends, or On-Call
COMPENSATION:

LOCATION:
Sun City West, Arizona
COMPANY PROFILE:
This is a traditional private practice - employing physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants - seeing a mainly adult and geriatric patient base for primary care needs. They utilize modern technology and traditional private practice operations to ensure both patient and provider satisfaction. The organization operates many locations throughout Arizona, being physician-led with a highly-skilled operations team to ensure efficient practice management. They are currently hiring due to growth.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This is a highly autonomous position in satellite offices of a local private practice, in which the new provider will work independently.
This is a standard outpatient setting and the duties of the provider role include, but are not limited to:
- adult primary care
- geriatric primary care
- chronic disease management
- minor illness and injury treatment
- consultations
- specialist referrals
- telehealth visits (performed from the office)
- reviewing diagnostic reports from patients’ home monitoring equipment
The patient base consists of adults and geriatrics, and the daily volume varies based upon provider preference and patient needs. Most providers see 20 to 25 patients per day.
Clinical assistants are available to room/prep patients and assist providers as needed.
The clinic uses a customized EHR, developed through eClinicalWorks.
The practice provides in-home health monitoring equipment, which they send to patients free of charge, to allow the office to receive regular diagnostic information on patients’ health conditions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Arizona PA license
- DEA
- 2+ years of advanced practice experience
- ability and desire to practice autonomously
