This organization was founded in 2013 by well-established New York physicians who wanted to respond to the changing healthcare environment and streamline their business operations to ensure long-term success. Today, the practice encompasses more than 250 employees and 70 medical providers. They operate 15+ clinics throughout Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Manhattan. In addition to a robust primary care service line, the organization offers gastroenterology, cardiology, physiatry, hematology/oncology, pediatrics, radiology, ophthalmology, optometry, and several other specialties. They are currently seeking new providers due to growth.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Providers keep busy and work alongside a medical assistant and/or a physician. Average daily volume varies depending upon length of shift, types of appointments, and staffing levels.
All work is within the area of standard outpatient hematology/oncology:
- new patient consultations
- follow-up visits
- condition management
- specialist referrals
- order and review diagnostic tests
There are no on-call responsibilities. The after-hours answering service may occasionally call a provider with an emergency question, but this is rare.
The practice uses the MDLand EHR.
REQUIREMENTS:
- New York NP or PA license
- DEA
- must be fluent in Cantonese or Mandarin
- experience or interest in hematology/oncology
- new graduates are welcome to apply
