OPEN POSITION:
Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Psychiatric Care
SCHEDULE:
- Full-Time
- Monday through Friday
- Typical Business Hours
- No Nights or Weekends (will accommodate at provider request)
- No On-Call
- Some Flexibility Offered
COMPENSATION:
- $105,000 to $140,000 Annual Income, dependent upon experience and performance
- Base Salary + Productivity Model

LOCATION:
- Palm Beach and surrounding area
- patients in long-term care facilities
COMPANY PROFILE:
This practice opened in 2011 and is dedicated to its goal of providing primary care and mental health services to local residents. They currently employ a team of 18 physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, who are supported by dedicated clinical and administrative staff. They provide primary care and psychiatric services to patients via house calls, facility visits, and telemedicine. They are currently hiring due to growth.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new provider will see between 9 and 15 patients per day, depending upon travel time, patient needs, and anticipated visit length.
Approximately 90% of the patients are located in long-term care facilities, such as assisted and independent living. The other 10% are seen in a variety of settings (private homes, businesses, other community locations).
Typical duties include, but are not limited to:
- evaluations and management of memory problems
- geriatric psychiatry evaluations and management
- treatment of depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders
All patients are existing patients of the practice, referred for psychiatric evaluations and treatment by their in-group PCP.
Providers are supported by the office’s administrative staff, who will confirm appointments, triage phone calls, assist with orders and referrals, coordinate labs and diagnostic testing, etc.
They use the Practice Fusion EHR.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Florida NP or PA license
- DEA
- experience or interest in psychiatric care
