Physician Assistant Venice, FL

We are looking for Physician Assistant to join our practice in Venice, FL. We prefer a PA for full time employment but may consider part time as well.

We prefer a provider with a thorough knowledge of the neuromuscular skeletal system, someone who is passionate about helping others and is open to holistic and alternative therapies. The medical practitioner would be evaluating and treating patients for physical medicine, preventative and regen medicine. Competitive salary with very Generous Bonus Program! Ideally, we are seeking an APP who has experience with US guided injection or general orthopedic experience with injection experience, is a good team player and willing to work with our diverse team of multidisciplinary providers.

Our practice is dedicated to identifying opioid-free pain relief options and tailoring treatment plans to each patient. Our skilled providers work to identify the source of the pain and explore cutting-edge solutions. We employ the latest forms of integrative medicine techniques, to free patients from debilitating pain, encourage healing and mobility, and help regain an active lifestyle. We offer patients relief from chronic pain conditions, including arthritis and persistent pain in the knees or lower back. We have a dynamic, well-educated team of medical professionals and amazing support staff!

Duties:

  • Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging) orthopedic/rehabilitation focused
  • Order and review tests/labs
  • Referral for PT and chiropractic care as needed
  • Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
  • Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises and various modalities
  • Manage patient care
  • Treatments- perform trigger point injections, joint injections, regen med and nerve blocks (US guided)
  • Documentation and progress notes
  • Perform reevaluations for most of the therapies and procedures occurring throughout the office
  • Participate in team meetings were all providers discussed the patient's condition and developed the best course of care
  • Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

  • Graduation from and accredited PA program
  • PA license in FL
  • Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is a plus
  • Experience with joint injections a plus
  • Willing to learn new exam techniques and treatment processes and procedures

Schedule:

  • M/W/Th 8-6
  • Tues 8-2:30
  • Fri 8-1:45

Salary (range):

  • $100k-$120k per year (DOE)
