We have a diverse staff of a variety of health professionals, and we need a caring provider to provide excellent compassionate patient care! There are a wide variety of diseases and conditions treated at our practice including sciatica, herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, and whiplash. We seek to help our patients with the most minimally invasive therapies first, helping them to decrease their pain and restore their function and mobility. Our ideal candidate has experience in pain management, PM&R and/or family practice and is experienced with joint and trigger point injections.

Who we are:

Our well respected and knowledgeable healthcare providers have special training and skill in relieving, reducing, or managing pain and improving a patient's overall quality of life through minimally invasive techniques. We perform physical exams and scans, assessments, and treatments for short- and long-term pain. Medical tests, procedures and therapies provided by our practices include discography, epidural injections, nerve, root, and medial branch blocks, facet joint injections, pulsed radiofrequency neurotomy (PRFN), rhizotomy, spinal cord stimulation, intrathecal pumps, and percutaneous discectomy/nucleoplasty. We strive to treat our patients with the most conservative approach possible. When conservative care fails, we have state-of-the-art minimally invasive solutions tailored for their condition. Patient satisfaction is our highest priority! Our mission is to deliver the best orthopedic and interventional pain management experience by providing comfort, education, and service.

Duties:

  • Patient exam/evaluations (medical history, physical exam, review imaging/reports and tests)
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests/labs
  • Referral for care/therapy when medically necessary
  • Diagnosis and treatment care plan formulation
  • Patient education as to care plan options, therapies and modalities, and post care instructions
  • Treatments to include trigger point and joint injections
  • Documentation and timely progress notes
  • Collaboration with the multispecialty team for comprehensive patient care
  • Collaborating and assisting/following the pain management doctors and surgeons
  • Patient follow up and reexams

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an Accredited Physician Assistant program
  • PA license in FL
  • Experience in joint/trigger point injections a plus
  • Pain management, Ortho, PM&R, and Family practice experience a plus

Schedule:

  • Part time (~2 days/week)
  • 6-10 days per month
  • Can possibly expand to full time in the future

Salary (range):

  • $65-$70/hr
