AIDS Activities Office (AAO) of the Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join their busy, established practice at Lehigh Valley Hospital 17th & Chew. This is a full time position for an NP with 2 years of experience in Family or Internal Medicine and/or an HIV or Infectious Disease background. This position will encompass womens health, primary care and psychiatry. Providers will be preforming yearly physicals, pap smears, fibro scans, STD specimen collection and act as a primary care provider for patients of the AAO.

AAO of the Lehigh Valley Health Network was established in 1989 to provide social support and case management services to HIV-infected individuals. This is the largest HIV program outside of the Philadelphia and Pittsburg areas in Pennsylvania. In 1991, the department acquired Ryan White Parts B & C and expanded its program to include on-site early intervention primary care for its clients. HIV testing and prevention services were initiated in 2003 after the organization was contracted as a Pennsylvania Department of Health-sponsored HIV testing site. At present, the AIDS Activities Office of the Lehigh Valley Health Network remains the largest provider of comprehensive, multidisciplinary HIV services in the greater Lehigh Valley region.
