Schedule: Nights, 7:30pm-7:30am, Must have Sunday thru Saturday availability

Education: Graduation from an accredited Physician Associate program required. Certified as a Physician Associate by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Associates. Both hold a valid Connecticutmedical license ,Connecticut Controlled Substance Registration and Federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certification.
Experience: One (1) to two (2) years caring for patients preferred.
Special Skills: Excellent clinical, interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Summary: The primary function of Physician Assistant (PA) is to provide comprehensive care to patients in collaboration with physicians. Each PA has a designated supervising physician. Exemplifies behaviors reflecting Service Excellence and support of the Strategic Dimensions by modeling the Core
Success Factors. Evaluates, manages, and coordinates care of patients under the supervision or in collaboration with the Physician(s). May assist Physician(s) in all aspects of patient care, including interactions with other services involved in the care of patients, and possibly in the ED. Works with Management on special projects as assigned.
