Vidant Medical Group and the East Carolina Heart Institute at Vidant Medical Center are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistantto work with their cardiology hospitalist team. Inpatient experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is required. Candidate should be proficient with admissions, discharges, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high volume environment

• 7 on 7 off schedule, 7a/7p with some rotating nights
• Team focused NP/PA led service with cardiology co-management model
• High level of autonomy

The East Carolina Heart Institute at Vidant Medical Center is eastern North Carolina’s preferred facility for cardiovascular services. The six-story, 375,000-square-foot tower houses clinical space, diagnostic services and cardiovascular operating rooms, including a hybrid operating room. It features 120 beds for patients undergoing procedures for cardiac medicine, cardiac surgery and vascular surgery.
