- 672-bed, not-for-profit, tertiary care hospital; one of the top 10 largest, public healthcare systems
- Team of 32 physicians, 4 advanced practitioners, and a clinical performance nurse
- Hospitalists attend codes on own patients
- No call environment
- 75-bed open ICU with 24/7 intensivists on call; Procedure experience required

Requirements of Advanced Practitioners

- Perform evaluation and management services to patients requiring hospitalist services with the hospitalist practice
- Develop treatment plans
- Complete admissions from ED
- Perform dictation of H&P examinations
- Cross cover for the hospitalist team
- Perform such other responsibilities as reasonably assigned by the chief hospitalist and within NP/PA scope of practice
- Current, unrestricted license in Tennessee with ACLS and BLS certification required; Must have a minimum of 1-year recent acute care experience
